FALL APPLE COLLINS
Notes of earth, musk and cloves with sweet local apple cider - perfectly suited for flavours of fall. Yields one cocktail
4oz mulled apple cider*
1/2oz maple syrup
3/4 oz lemon juice
Ingredients (mulled apple cider):
300ml apple cider
1 stick cinnamon
6 all spice berries
2 star anise
1. Bring 300ml apple cider to a medium simmer, add all spices and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool, strain out solids.
2. Add mulled apple cider, lemon and maple syrup in a tall collins glass.
3. Fill with ice and stir for 10-15 seconds.
4. Garnish with sliced wheels of apple. Enjoy!
